Ivan Meneses, PE, CEM
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Mechanical engineer and energy-industry visionary with 25 years of experience in energy efficiency, engineering design, construction, facilities maintenance, energy standards and energy-related tax incentives. A retired senior military officer specializing in engineering and logistics, Ivan brings disciplined leadership and extensive technical experience to Efena’s development and commercialization efforts.
Juan Felipe Casadiego
Co-Founder, Chief Engineering Officer & Inventor
Mechatronics engineer and electropneumatic technician specializing in electronics, energy generation and new-product development. Juan Felipe leads Efena’s engineering and product-development efforts. His work has received innovation recognition for the Mercury robotics project at the University of Oklahoma and for climate-focused innovation from the European Union.
Christopher Torralva
Co-Founder, Chief Innovation and New Products Officer & Inventor
Inventor and experimental physicist specializing in hydrogen technologies and energy generation. Christopher leads the exploration of new scientific concepts and their development into practical products. His work is guided by scientific inquiry and personal faith, viewing the study of energy as a way to better understand and responsibly use the resources present in creation.
Juan Diego Acevedo
Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer
Industrial engineer and business administrator with additional training in international business, industrial process management, data analysis, and quality and workplace-safety systems. Juan Diego brings experience in operations, financial management, industrial processes, technology ventures and technical education, helping translate engineering initiatives into organized, scalable business processes.
Mayer Wancejer
Co-Founder & Director of International Business Development
Industrial engineer, entrepreneur and energy-industry business leader with more than 25 years of experience launching new ventures and developing international markets. Mayer leads Efena’s international business-development efforts, helping identify opportunities, establish commercial relationships and expand the company’s presence across new countries and regions.
